Publishing your AI governance
Nothing requires you to publish an AI policy. Those who do give their customers an answer before the question.
A voluntary step
No text requires a website to publish an AI governance page. That is why the scan never takes points away for its absence: it speaks of an "opportunity to publish".
AI literacy (Article 4)
Since 2 February 2025, providers and deployers must take measures to ensure a sufficient level of AI literacy among their staff. The Regulation does not require this to be published; mentioning it on your website is a choice.
What such a page can contain
- The AI tools used and what they are for.
- Who is responsible for them in the company.
- How staff are trained.
- How to reach someone with a question.
What the scan counts
A link to, or text of, an AI policy or charter earns 12 points; a mention of staff training, 8 points. This criterion only counts what is present.
