What happens to your data
Scanning requires no account or email address. Here is the data needed to run the service.
During a scan
We record the public address analysed, the result and its date. An unguessable link lets you retrieve the result; anyone you share that link with can read it. Results and the identifier used to count scans are kept for up to 395 days and then deleted during service maintenance.
The IP address is retained for 30 days to limit abuse. Fingerprint and network matches are removed after 90 days. Rate counters expire after one hour.
How scans are counted
Ten scans are available without an account. A random identifier is kept in the technical cookie “pc_essais” for 395 days. To limit circumvention, the page computes browser and device fingerprints from technical characteristics including the screen, graphics and audio rendering, fonts, language and time zone. They are converted into codes and scrambled again by the server. They count scans and are not used for advertising or audience measurement.
Where data is processed
The service is hosted by Infomaniak in Switzerland. When you request a scan, the server contacts the public website being analysed. No content is sent to an AI model, Notion or Google Workspace.
